Disneyland!

Last week we took the boys to Disneyland and CA Adventure for a couple of days with some of Matt's family. We had a great time, and the boys LOVED it, of course!
They are at the perfect ages to love the rides, the characters, and the magic of Disneyland!

DAY 1: CA Adventure

Kayden loved all the rides and would always say, "One more time!" at the end of every ride as he fought to stay on for one more ride. He didn't like being left behind with Mommy when Daddy and Zac rode the big rides.
~Ready for a day of fun in the sun with their Lighting McQueen and Batman sunglasses~

Zac was brave and wanted to try all of the big rides, although I don't think he'll be going back on a few of them (Tower of Terror, for sure!) On our drive to CA, he told his Grandma on the phone that "Last year, when I was three, I was scared of some of the big rides like Space Mountain, but now that I am 4, I'm going to try them again to see if I'm still scared or not." He went on every ride Matt went on and liked most of them.

Ready to get on one of our favorite rides, Toy Story Mania
We rode it several times!

Kayden rode the carousel at least 5 or 6 times while we waited for Daddy and others to ride CA Screamin...he loved going "up and down, up and down"

Mommy and Kayden watched from the bridge while the others got all wet! Zac was not a happy camper when he got off the ride and showed me how soaked he got! He was the wettest of everyone!

A highlight for Kayden...meeting his favorite Disney character, Lighting McQueen

A kiss for McQueen

Mater, too!

Ready to watch the Bug's Life 3-D show

Watching the Pixar Play Parade

Our friends, the Larsens, met up with us at the Aladdin show
and spent the rest of the day with us. It was so fun to see them and get to hang out!

Kayden, Ashelyn, and Brooklyn waiting outside Soaring Over CA

It was a fun day at California Adventure!

DAY 2: Disneyland

There aren't many pictures from our day at Disneyland because it rained most of the day. Luckily we had an umbrella and a few ponchos to keep us mostly dry. It did make for some short lines and we walked onto a lot of the rides without having to wait at all. They even let us stay on Pirates of the Caribbean for a second ride without even getting off!

Zac taking Matt for a drive

We took advantage whenever the rain stopped and did the "outside" rides
One of the highlights of the day was when Zac got to participate in the Jedi Training Academy. He thought it was great and has been teaching Kayden "Jedi moves" ever since.

We had so much fun, we can't wait to go back again!
