I decided that I'd better finish posting my Australia pictures so I can at least have them somewhat documented for myself. I've been a little busy with other things lately and haven't taken the time to do it.
St. Kilda Beach
On my first Saturday in Australia, we headed out to a nearby beach. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly (it's fall there), but it was still fun walking along the water and reading on the beach, listening to the sounds of the sea.

There were so many tiny sea shells in the sand!
We saw quite a few dead jellyfish on the sand, which made me a little glad that I wasn't actually swimming in the water that day!

St. Kilda Pier
We ate lunch in a cafe housed at the historical building at the end of the pier.

First of all, the pictures from your trip are amazing! You're so lucky that you got to go on such an awesome vacation!
Second, the drive in is off of Carey and Rancho, by Texas Station. It's not in the best area, but it's not that bad either. It's so fun to go and open up the back of our van and sit in the back with lots of blankets and pillows. The warmer it gets, though, we'll probably bring some chairs and sit outside of our car. Anyway, the website is

We went on a Wednesday night and there was hardly anyone there. It was a lot busier on the weekends, so you'd want to get there early to get a good spot. There's a little playground for kids to play on if you get there super early and you need to keep the kids entertained.
